I have recurring vaginal yeast infection problem. I use clotrimazole cream yet I get year infection after every period followed my a watery fishy smell discharge till the next period. This has been happening for the past 3 months.

You have to get systematic treatment for vaginal candidiasis. Take betadine vaginal douche under the supervision of a gynecologist for a week. Oral use of fluconazole 150 mg weekly for 2 wks. Then use clingen forte vaginal tab x 7 days. Daily use of luliconazole (luligel) is very effective. Keep your vagina dry after using toilet. Always use cotton panties.

Hi, lybrate-user. Your symptoms now (fishy smelling discharge) is not because of yeast. Yeast infection will usually have curdy white discharge. You need to be treated for infections other than yeast.
