My father is suffering from excessive burning in his right thigh outer sideways and upper part. He even experiences pain while walking. He is having this issue from many months. I really want to know what medicine can cure him as it is becoming very hard for him. He feels this tingling sensation and it burns even if someone keeps hand on that part lightly. Please help us out and let me know what medicine can cure him. Also, he takes a lot of stress and always gets awake in middle of the night feeling sleepless. Please help me as to what can I do for him am really very tensed.

Hello, this is meralgia paresthetica is a condition that causes numbness, pain, or a burning feeling in your outer thigh. You might also hear it called bernhardt-roth syndrome. It happens when there?s too much pressure on or damage to one of the nerves in your leg, specifically the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve (lfcn).
