Type 2 diabetes, on medicine, metformin - 1g bd, glimepiride 2 mg od since 2 yr. Hb1ac - 6.8, fbc and pp normal, creatinine - 0.5,muscular pain on legs and fatigue. For last 10 days, last two days I reduce to metformin 500 mg bd, now ok no pain feeling good, is it lactic acidosis?

Dear sir/madam, I never seen a person who died due diabetes and did not take medicines. So, keep that in mind that only medicine can't make you fit. A proper diet plan is the main solution for type 2 diabetes. If you think, you can can contact me directly.
