Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meal. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. Â

Hi, first off, calm down. Whatever you have, by the looks of it, can be easily treated. Your mention of receeding gums makes me believe you're going towards periodontitis, which is not a very good thing. With crooked teeth, maintaining proper oral hygiene is pretty difficult, but not impossible. I would suggest you to get a professional cleaning done once, the dentist may also prescribe a mouthwash. Use that along with salt water rinses at night. Also drink plenty of water and rinse your mouth after every meal. Take a second opinion and if you want to get your teeth orthodontically treated, go for it, it will definitely help with the swollen gums later in life. Â

Hello Gingivitis means inflammation of the gum. It commonly occurs because a film of plaque, that accumulates on the teeth. Untreated gingivitis can progress to periodontitis. This is more serious and can eventually lead to loss of teeth. Signs of gingivitis include red and puffy gums, bleeding gums during brushing. The most common cause of gingivitis is the accumulation of bacterial plaque between and around the teeth. When plaque is not removed adequately, it can harden into calculus, or tartar, at the base of the teeth, near the gums. Calculus can only be removed professionally. If diagnosis happens early, and if treatment is proper, gingivitis can be successfully reversed. Treatment involves deep cleaning by a dental professional, regular brushing and flossing and follow-up procedures. Hope this helps!Â
