I am 25 years old. I have an ovarian cyst in my right ovary. I am taking dronis 30 for last 4 years continuously. My menstrual pain was almost cured after taking dronis 30. But currently I am having a bad menstrual pain like before even after taking dronis 30. Should I need to worry or this is completely normal?

Hello! need more details regarding the type of cyst and its size. Need to check if its endometriotic cyst. This commonly causes severe pain durinenses. Symptomatically you can take tab meftal spas upto twice a day for the pain. Take care!

If the pain is very severe with vomitting, consult a gynecologist immediately. If not, take meftal spas to reduce the pain and get an ultrasound later to see if the cyst has reduced or any other causes.

This is not normal, please get a sonography done to understand the type of ovarian cyst and it’s present size. Entity called as endometriosis can lead to such menstrual pain sometimes even with ocps like dronis. Please consult your gynaec for clinical examination and sonography. Take care.
