If no dominant follicles were seen, chances of ovulation are less in the present cycle. You can continue the folliculometry, in some cases, ovulation occurs late. If there is no ovulation in the present cycle, the induction dose may need to be increased.

Hi lybrate-user, you need to understand that pcod is not a disease as such, it’s a lifestyle disorder which can be cured with proper nutritious diet and regular exercise. 17th day follicular study if not showing any grown follicles with thin et of 5.8 mm, you are unlikely to ovulate by yourself. You need a proper ovulation induction and management of the et accordingly. You can talk to your gynaecologist about this and can start the same from the next cycle.

Hello by the 17th day we need to see a dominant follicle in either ovary. This usually does not happen in pcos as there is no follicular development and ovulation on its own. Next time go for ovulation induction with tablets with follicular monitoring.

Regularly menstruating women ovulates usually on day 14. Endometrium must be 7-8 mm thick and also three layered. If endometrium is favourable and folliclar size is 18-20 mm, you can rupture it to produce ovulation.
