I had a viral infection (throat, cough) 15 days ago. I took a 5 day antibiotic course and the fever went. But the cough is still there. I have taken Alex syrup and prospan (ivy leaf extract) but it hasn't helped. I have dry cough. Please suggest a good syrup.

I advise you the followings for your condition: drink plenty of warm fluids. Drinking warm fluids helps to loosen the secretions in your sinuses so that your mucus flows more freely, making you feel better faster. Studies show that drinking warm fluids relieves cold symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, sore throat, and fatigue.
