I am 24 years old. I had unprotected intercourse with my boyfriend on 28th august. I took unwanted 72 on 31st august and I was supposed to get my periods on 16th september and it missed. I again had intercourse with my boyfriend on 19th of september and took emergency contraception right away. I haven't had my periods yet. I get cramps like I generally do before periods but the periods is not coming. It is not possible for me to take a pregnancy test at home. I don't know what am I to do now. Please help. I have a trip coming up too. I don't want my periods to hinder that. Please help.

After taking the high hormonal emergency pill like unwanted 72 one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts. If this does not happen as well as period is missed then to do pregnancy test. Means you should have got pregnancy test done on 17/9. Taking again delays period even when one is not pregnant. And if pregnant delays diagnosing same as you do not do test in hope of getting withdrawal bleeding. Best is to do pregnancy test now and if negative to wait till 29th.
