My 3 year 10 month old daughter is having white mucous in poop. Hence the ped advised with levofloxacin and ornidazole suspension for 5 days .even though the mucous has stopped she goes to toilet for at least 3 times a day. Please suggest and help.

The unwanted use of antibiotics in children are not advisable and if she goes to do poop it is normal. If you give anything in bottle you must stop bottle feeds and give her normal foods with a spoon only. You may give probiotics like nutrolin b syrup for a 7- 10 days.
