Actually, I had a bladder pain bcs of urine stream was weak and later was not passing out and when doctor checked by endoscopy then he found high bladder neck which he advised tasulin 0.4 mg one tablet daily for lifetime to maintain the urine flow but by somehow some infection came as per routine urine report so he advised to cure by taking this oriprim ds 1/2 tablet for 2 months which antibiotic. So just wanted to ask if it is safe to take it till this time.

Tamsulosin is safe to be taken for long term. Get a repeat uroflowmetry done to see the benefit of tamsulosin. If no major improvements then we may need to escalate therapy and add newer therapies. And get a urine examination done again along with post voidal residue. Review once done. Will guide you further.
