It is photodermatitis as it increases in sunlight. Symptomatic relief can be obtained with emollients, topical steroids, and anti-histamines. Systemic steroids may be necessary for severe cases. Sensitivity to the sun may take several weeks to abate, especially with photoallergens from sunscreens.
