Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. Uric acid increase in the blood happens because of kidneys not excreting enough uric acid. This can happen due to excessive protein intake particularly in people eating sea foods (certain fishes), red meat, organ meat. Also in those whose diet contains high purine containing foods even in vegetarian diet. Plus taking excessive alcohol, sweetened aerated drinks, corn syrup containing products plus there may be a genetic factor also. Treatment is to avoid high protein containing products like above mentioned. In vegetarian diet also some protein rich products if taken in large quantity plus other items like aerated drinks and processed foods and corn syrup containing products can increase uric acid. Once this happens strict diet control plus taking drugs like febustat may be required. Only diet restriction may not completely eliminate excess uric acid. The condition has a tendency to come back. Thanks.

*this is not individual medical advice. Please consult your doctor*the high triglycerides and uric acid are due to insulin resistance. The solution without allopathic medicine which has worked for my patients is to reduce carbohydrates and get protein to 0.8 gram per kg reference body weight per day. Vegetarians are most often eating a protein deficient diet and still their uric acid is high. So why blame dietary protein for uric acid? We have seen every patients uric acid come down by achieving protein targets. Most vegetarian people are far far away from a high protein intake. At least get your daily requirements.
