I want to know if I start taking bp medicines. Is this safe as I am trying to conceive also. My age 37. I have fluctuating bp n family has heredity bp. My bp sometimes normal, sometimes high if not care. Done ecg. Its normal. Dr. says its anxiety but prescribe me lipid test, sugar test etc. I am scared if I done tests n anything comes abnormal. Is it safe to start bp medicines because m trying to conceive also. What should I do?

You have to inform doctor that you are planning pregnancy so he/she will choose medicines accordingly. Also understand and accept extra risk to mother and baby both in view of age.
