Hello, thanks for the query. Madam, it is better to get the urine tested in a lab (routine and microscopy) to see if there is any infection. Frequency can increase in infection or if one has undetected diabetes. Particularly if parents have (either both or even one) a h/o diabetes, it is better to get fasting and after food glucose tested. As regards alkaliser syrup it only reduces acidity of urine and helps controlling irritation. It has no effect on menstrual cycle. Thanks.

Please do a urine test for routine and culture, also avoid unination in public toilets as far as possible.
Do the test and revert back till that time continue your medicine.
