Hi, my kid is 5 years old and he has discoid eczema on his legs. There are 4 spots. When I consulted a dermatologist, he prescribed topisal 3% ointment for 7 days. But I read that this medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years. When I checked with the same doctor again, he said it's only for a week, so shouldn't be a problem. I'm still confused, hence looking for a second opinion. Please suggest.
