I have given 2 ml viscodyne drops instead of 8 drops to my 3 month old baby any problem will come for my baby?

hello hemashri, thank you for posting your query. No cough syrups are recommonded to use in infants & pediatric age group in general. The drops, u mentioned contain 4 medicines, one of the medicines thins & seperates mucus, which small babies r unable to cough out & it may worsen the symptoms. Viscodyne may cause irritation, excessive sleepiness, increased heart rate, & vomitting.
