The cream consists of two medications, namely - lidocaine (a local anesthetic) that helps with pain and nifedipine reduces the hypertonicity of anal sphincter (relaxes the anal sphincter) which helps in healing. You also need sitz bath, sit in warm water tub with betadine solution for 15 min 3 times a day, use stool softener like syrup cremaffin at night 15 ml and adjust dose so you have soft stool and ek r have to strain. This will surely help.
