Hello, I appreciate your concern. There are many factors which play role. Few of them are lifestyle, family histroy, smoking, stress, type a peronality. Other secondary causes like kidney diseases, cushing's disease, drugs (medicines). If any of these are present, then yes you could be one of them. So, do check bp regularly. To consult a physician for further management if found to have. Even if you are not one of them, should start working on maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. People used to get hypertension after 60's because they worked hard and ate a healthy diet.
