Hello doctors I want to discuss my father in law's case history with all of you that you can suggest me better. My father law Mr. a h mobassir 62 years male non alcoholic is a patient of chronic liver disease. In 2017 he diagnosed with gallbladder stone and underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Surgeon told us that he seen macronodular cirrhosis during operation. Since that time we are too much concern about his health. He underwent various tests for autoimmune hepatitis, viral hepatitis, wilsons disease, upper gi endoscopy, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency but all reports are normal. As per doctor's suggestion we did elastography, mri pdff. Mri report suggest there is only 10? of fat in his liver but elastography reveals grade 3 liver fibrosis. Currently he has mild splenomegaly, no asities but only symptom is yellowish urine. We want to know why he developed cirrhosis so that he can save this remaining liver function. Please guide us and please give your valuable suggestions.
