Am female 35 years 1 month postpartum .gave birth to baby girl. Now am suffering with postnasal drip with tonsillitis and dry cough. Wat is the reason for tonsillitis. Does acid reflux cause tonsillitis or cold weather. And am using antibiotics and other meds. Does this cough spread to my baby as I spend most time with my baby. Does this cure within 1 week.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Post-nasal drip often leads to a sore, irritated throat. Although there is usually no infection, the tonsils and other tissues in the throat may swell. This can cause discomfort or a feeling that there is a lump in the throat. Successful treatment of the post-nasal drip will usually clear up these throat symptoms. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
