My wife has short cervix now in 28 weeks she was given cervical cerclage in first trimester and pessary at the end of 2nd trimester. In 7 month scan baby is fine but doctor has given dexon injection 6 mg 5 doses in morning and evening she mentioned it is for foetal lungs maturation. She was already given maintane 500 injection to prevent labor pain weekly from 24 weeks to 34 weeks. But now doctor told maintane 500 injection can be stopped by 32 weeks. Does it meaning early labor is planned. Is it possible to carry until full term, could anyone let us know.
