Can I choose sonography option vs pelvic examination before going to labour or cesarean because I have fear of pelvic examination.

Ideally sonography also is to be done both abdominally and vaginally. Vaginal sonography may be more painful then pelvic examination. Some points can be elicited only on pelvic examination.
