I do normal work out at gym daily. Trainer has suggested to use supplementary protein powders. Is it healthy to use such artificial protein? Because I have heard its side effects on kidneys. Please help me with the myths and facts of the same. Thanks.

Yes, you are right. Artificial protein supplements can be harmful and are not required, if you eat properly. Natural proteins like paneer /pulses/soyabean/nuts or egg whites /fish /lean chicken (non veg).
