Sir I have a dandruff problem and fungal infection on the neck. So for fungal infection I was taking itraconazole. And few days ago I went to doctor for hair fall and dandruff problem so he prescribe me ketoconazole shampoo. My dandruff has gone in the period I was taking itraconazole. Now my fungal infection has cured but dandruff has started again like previous one as I stopped itraconazole. What should I do?

Dandruff problems could be because of skin inflammation. That needs a customized approach and maintenance treatments. Also we hope your dermatologist has advised stopping itraconazole as stopping too soon (determined by a doctor) can cause your fungal to relapse and even become unresponsive in the long run.
