There are various criteria to diagnose the malignancy / cancer prostate like history, clinical examination, routine blood & the liver function tests, radiological imaging, serum psa value, serum acid phosphatase. To establish or rule out malignancy in prostate you should go for- 1. Psa (prostate specific antigen) 2. Ultrasound for prostate 3. Per rectal examination of prostate by surgeon.
