Hi doctor, my baby is one month old and I am having low milk supply can I use lactare capsule for rest 6 months because I want my child to have only breastfeeding. If I can use the lactare tablet then please advise me the daily dosage of the tablet and will it be safe to continue for 6 month. Will there be any side effect to the baby by using these tablet? Please advise me doctor. Eagerly waiting, thank you very much.

Hi lybrate-user. U can take lactare tablet 2 times a day. But breastfeeding usually develops in first week after birth. Later its too late to start treatment. Have you confirmed that your milk supply is low. A brestfed child if urinates 6-8 times & defecates 3-4 times usually is well fed.
