Hello! I have been feeding my 4 months old baby with lactogen 1, but on first day of fifth month, the colour of his poop changed to black, is this a serious problem? If yes, what can I do to prevent it? Is it that the milk has a problem maybe? If yes is there any milk found worldwide that can be replaced with?

Dear parents, formula feed sometimes cause greenish stool, but not black stool. So, first you have to be sure whether it is greenish stool or pure black stool. If it is black colored stool, then probably your child is having upper gastro-intestinal tract bleeding. And there are multiple causes of bleeding, so if this is the case then your child need to be investigated for cause. For further queries and help. Kindly consult any pediatrician or me.
