Dear sir I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder I have consulted doctor and due to my heart palpitation she has given me to do and ecg test and it was found sinus tachycardia and advice me to take ciplar la 40 to continue and I have taken it for 2 weeks and I have left. L am doing meditation and exercise now I sometimes have a rapid heart palpitation and chest heaviness and tightness so should I cure it by doing exercises or I have to continue the medicine as I am 28 I am not willing to take medicines for for long time. Need your kind advice.

It can be a general one or sometimes specefic to certain stress or life events what ever it is exercise, meditation etc are general means of relaxing and empowering. But if it persist take help of psychologist to undergo specefic therapy like cbt. Also there are quick stress relieving practices which helps alot. Bye take care.

See palpitations secondary to anxiety is present in your condition. The primary symptom of anxiety should be treated, it is not wise to treat it with ciplar, ideally, you should be treated with primary anxiety, reducing medications like ssri or snri group of medications.
