Am having a vaginal infection for a year now I took fluconazole tablets and a miconazole suppository also and I had no improvement it would occur after some time I was on doxycycline tablets for 5 days and metronidazole for 1 week since I had to vomit I discontinued the metro tablet in 3 days after 3 weeks I started with vaginal itching and discharge can you tell me why it's happening every time I keep my clothes clean wash my vagina in v wash to keep it dry and once my panty is wet I change it all the time and I wash my inner in hot water still have repeated episodes also taken an itraconazole vaginal swab shows easily and coagulase neg staph &esbl usually comes before or after periods what kind of investigation I have to do I took all kinds of medication recently I took af kit also.

1) If cold is cured does not mean it will not recur, same way such infection can recur. 2) Must check for factors which cause same to be repeated- a) Both sex partners to be treated at same time B) Use of oral contraceptive pills going on 3) Diabetes.
