Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking guidance. Well, you can wash it thoroughly with cold water 2 to 3 times that shall remove maximum of the pesticide residues. Also, washing with 2% salt solution will help remove the pesticides. Residues remaining, if any, shall get removed during the process of cooking. The above-mentioned risk of pesticide contamination is averted significantly/ totally, if one goes for organically cultivated fruits, vegetables and foods etc all.
