Is multiple myeloma curable my father is 71 years old and has been detected of multiple myeloma he is been under going chemotherapy since april his 5th cycle is going on how many more chemo he has to take his reports as showing good response.

Multiple myeloma is a incurable but treatable disease. Means just like diabetes it can not be cured but we can keep it in control with chemotherapy. Number of chemotherapy cycles depends on type of chemotherapy regimen used and whether bone marrow transplant planned. Prognosis depends on various pathological factors and response to chemotherapy.
