I have nose leakage And Blocking Problems From 2 or 3 months Recently I visited a doctor he said that I have a sinus operation And my question is What is sinus operation and what is exactly done in sinus operation?

Hi lybrate-user. Sinusitis occurs bcz of inadequate drainage of sinus that may be due to many reasons like mass or polyps in nose or deviated septum or polypoidal mucosa due to allergy. Surgery for sinusitis is called FESS (functional endoscopic sinus surgery) in which underlying pathology is removed and sinus drainage is restored. But before that you need to get a CT scan done to know about the underlying pathology. Review with report.
