I am working as Professor and and my profession demands long hours of sitting with Microscope and computers. Since last 8 months I am suffering with cervical problem and attempted physiotherapy, taking medicine from Himalaya Ayurved (rumalaya Forte) but at end of the I am still a sufferer. Kindly suggest. Waiting.

You need exercise. Avoid continuous looking at it and do neck exercises daily. After every half hour give you neck some time to relax. Take homoeopathic medicines as you may get relief in pain and stiffness.

Sir, long time sitting is not good for anybody but you have no option so far I understand still I will ask you to move after every half an hour to get relax and few therapy may help you better.
