Wound healing is slow in diabetics because of several factors. If the wound is not infected, you don't have to worry. Keep your blood sugars well controlled and you will be fine.

Healing in diabetes is slower than normal. Control diabetes well and keep the area clean. Allow a week or 10 days for full recovery. It should heal in that time.
