How to reduce serum creatine level from 1.4 I am 62 years old male having diabetic for the last 20 years and higher tension for the last 10 years. Please advice.

Mr. lybrate-user Narayan, Creatinine of 1.4 mg / dl, good enough. There is no need to worry about it. Only if it goes still higher then there may be a need to consider reduction. Creatinine can be reduced by reducing protein intake to less than 0.6 g/kg/d and avoiding strenuous activity. Diabetes itself affects kidney function over the years. So strict blood glucose control also has to be maintained. Thanks.
