Consider getting an eye check up by an ophtalmologist to rule out refractive error ('number'). This can cause headache. If headache is only one sided and associated with nausea, vomiting, intolerance to light and noise, you may be suffering from migraine. It is possible once your headache is treated you may see an improvement in your studies.

You are probably more oriented toward right brain functioning. So, whenever you attempt to want to learn and remember something you will have to use left brain but it is not your favored hemisphere and so it is likely because of this that you experience tingling and pain. This is likely to happen for a few more months because of your age. You are in late adolescence and so you will be changing to favor the right brain soon and these symptoms will disappear. If you are under stress due to other factors combining with hormonal imbalances, then this condition may prolong a little more than usual. If you want to push the agenda mentioned above I suggest that you do a few of the left brain exercises as recommended: block your left nostril and breathe deeply as often as you can; look at or visualize the colors yellow and amber as often as you can; and sleep on your left ear whenever you lie down and at night.
