My daughter aged 2 years 4 months is suffering from uti and pyelonephritis. Fever comes and goes often once in two days for the past 3 weeks. Dr. prescribed antibiotics. Recent urine culture showed no growth. Initially her crp was 137. Dr. told to take MCU further. We are really confused. Don't know what to do next. What is the solution for this. Pls help.

It seems Baby Manha is suffering from urinary tract infection and pyelonephritis which needs further investigation the form of urinalysis and urine culture and ultrasound abdomen. The present episode needs to be treated with the oral or IV antibiotics. After the present episode is treated the baby will need investigation in the form of the MCU and EC scan to know what is the cause for this urinary tract infection in such a young child. Later the treatment course can be decided.
