Hi lybrate-user Loss of confident in sex can be arised from strong misunderstanding and abuse of sex. Frequent matrubation will not create physical impotence but mental impotence or inferior complex or can be obssesive compulsory disorder and wrong advertisements, porn videos in Internet can initially give more satisfaction and gratification but you will not get gratification as the years goes on expectation exceeds you start to loose confidence. So if you have any fear first have a counselling in person with doctor and follow his advice. Thanks

First thing, do not take any anti-depressants. Lack of desire for sex could be due to hormonal imbalance, which we have to exclude, before concluding that the defect is in the functioning of the brain. Get these three tests done immediately, if not done recently. 1. Serum Testosterone 2. Serum Prolactin 3. TSH If you are physically fit, then you can go for mental evaluation.
