She started her career in FRLHT - IAIM as senior research fellow and has done intense literary research and worked on diabetes, development of research projects and formation of guidelines to write research articles. She has worked as a teaching faculty in training students of Panchakarma therapist course. She later in 2013 went to China and was involved in Ayurveda consultation and taught yoga for women healthcare and Pregnancy yoga, . Dr. Ashwini is a very passionate writer and has written number of articles related to Ayurveda and yoga for Amruth (a bi-monthly magazine), outlook.com and blogs of ayuruniverse.com . She has also written health articles for local magazines. She was also involved in training rural women about home remedies and personal hygiene.
