1.my daughter who is 30, has the problem of anxiety and depression for last 3 years.
She takes paroxetine 62.5 mg for the same but still faces depressive symptoms.
2.her psychiatrist told that she seems to have treatment-resistant-depression. She was given ample ssri ,snri, ndri plus at last - mirtazapine & trazodone as well but we got disappointment.
3. Doctor told us that we will be trying tca's on her, along with paroxetine. And he tried opipramol and prothidian recently.
4.thus could you suggest some good tricyclic
antidepressants to be used with paroxetine?
5. We will surely discuss it with our psychiatrist first and then will start.

Hii, I took weed in aug 2016 and after that I started feeling bit anxious and after 3 months of that I had a outbreak of anxiety (gad) though I am anxious from childhood. My doctor put me on paroxetine and clonazepam till june 2017 but it didn't work much though it helped me little bit. After that I was suffering without taking any medication for 1 year but after that I saw a doctor in my hometown indore and he put me on paroxetine cr but it was not working at all later he found that I have delusional disorder also with generalized anxiety disorder so he put me on risperidone but due to severe weight gain I was put on amisulpride so from dec 2018 I am on amisulpride and doing ok ok as I still have anxiety but free from delusional disorder .i have told to my doctor that please put me on another ssri but he tells me ssri increases delusional disorder so he can't do that can anyone help me what to do?

I am a neuro and chronic depression male 74 yrs. And taking medicines regularly. For depression I am taking veniz xr 150 mg twice a day, serta 100 mg 2 tabs at bedtime, agoprex 25 mg 1 tab at night, alzolam 0.25 mg with regular htn medicines other than neuro medicines like syndopa plus etc prescribed by institute of neuro sciences, kolkata.
