Let him continue regularly the diet and activity. Mediations for short term would help further reduce weight.

Natural process is only by initiating low calorie diet which is not followed by many people. You can try under supervision.

Please provide further details on how graves/ hyperthyroidism diagnosed and current dose. In rare patients who do not respond to drugs, rai ablation is the best option.
