Hi, I am Dr. Vipul Sud working in the field of plastic surgery for the last 25 years. I have been trained from PGI Chandigarh following which I took further training in US and UK and was a consultant there. Before and I did my fellowship in hand surgery, microsurgery and complex wound care. Following which I came back to India and have been practicing in Batra Hospital for the last 14 years. My specialty apart from doing routine plastic surgery things which we are all aware of like cleft palate, cleft lips and congenital surgeries and reconstructive surgeries related to plastic surgery.

I have been dealing with cosmetic surgery, operations regarding the same, and abdominoplasties, breast reduction, face lifts, brow lifts and so on and so forth. But my forte is hand surgery where I deal with any complex problems in hand surgery. They may be the congenital nature, or maybe related to trauma or maybe related to metabolic problems. They can be as simple as a tendon injury which has been ignored for long or a joint problem in the hand or it may be as complex as Brachial Plexus problem which may be congenital or traumatic. The hand is an important part of the body and although we don’t realize but often it is important as far as function is concerned and we need to take care of it and make sure that it is functional and my job is to keep that hand functional as long as possible and in the best possible way.
