Dr. Kanika Gupta graduated from Jabalpur Medical College in 1982 with gold medals in two disciplines ? Obsterics & gynecology and General Surgery. She did her postgraduation in Obs & Gynae from Jabalpur Medical College in 1986. She has worked as a Lecturer, Associate Professor & Postgraduate Teacher in Wanless Hospital, Miraj Medical College, Maharashtra, India. She received training in performing gynae cancer surgeries from M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Texas, USA and under the guidance of Prof. Neville Hacker, Royal Hospital for Women, Sydney, Australia. In addition, she has completed Diploma in Pelvic Endoscopy from Germany under the care of Prof. Kurt Semm. Laproscopy radical hysterectomy for cancer cervix and cancer uterus is done.Regularly. She is equally competent in performing gynecological surgeries by vaginal, laparoscopic and the traditional open methods for various gynecological conditions - cancers, pre-cancers, fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine prolapse, etc..
