He is an expert in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy, ERCP and Endoscopy treatment of Bile Duct Stones. Apart from routine and emergency management of patients, Dr. Kumar performs various endoscopic procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy, Sclerotherapy and Variceal Band Ligation, Proctosigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy and Polypectomy, Esophageal Stricture and Achalasia Dilatation and Stenting, Extraction, Plastic and Metal Stenting, ENBD Tube Placement, Mechanical Lithotripsy and Stricture Dilatation. Dr. Kumar pursued MBBS and MD (Pediatrics) from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. His DM (Gastroenterology) was accomplished from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow. He was attached as a Senior Consultant with some prestigious hospitals in New Delhi such as Kailash Hospital & Research Center, Apollo Hospital, Max Superspeciality Hospital and Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre. Dr. Kumar also held a position of an Assistant and Associate Professor at Department of Gastroenterology, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna. He has been invited by various medical colleges as Guest Lecturer, which is a testimony of Dr. Kumar's excellent domain knowledge.
