If you have time go for braces it will correct the teeth naturally no cutting in required and also its permanent.

For an acute sensitive teeth, is it correct to go for full capping of teeth. Will it completely solve the problem?

Yes sometimes it is the only option when the teeth are severely attrited and after doing rct. And cap it will reduce the senstivity.
