Hi, I would like to know that Is it normal to have high platelet count? Mine is 480.

A high platelet count can be early sign of iron deficiency. Kindly post your hemoglobin, mcv, mch and mchc to decide whether you should go for Serum iron study.

Her albumin level? Her current medications? And full diagnosis? Is it liver failure with portal hypertension, any varices.
