This condition is because of hormonal irregularities n proper medication for 4 to 6 months is advisable.

I have my lower abdomen ultrasound on 2nd day of my period This contain report as Urinary bladder does not show any calculus or mass lesion.
Uterus is anteverted and measured (73.2*38.6*35.6)
Myometrium shows normal echo pattern. No focal space occupying lesion is seen.
Endometrial echo is normal. ET is 3.7 mm.
Both ovaries are visualized and both are polycystic. Right ovary vol. Is 37. 2 ml amd left ovary vol. Is 17. 08 ml.
No adnexal mass is seen. NO Free fluid is seen in pouch of douglas.
Impression: B/L PCOD.
My doc told me that my ovaries are bulky and give medicine for that.
What does it mean by B/L PCOD.
Is my report ok?
