A man with Hepatitis B can have unprotected (baby-making) sex with a woman without getting her or their child infected by first ensuring that the woman is successfully vaccinated against HepB. If she has been vaccinated successfully, she will not become infected with the virus, nor will she pass it down to her child.

Mainly 5types of viruses can cause hepatitis. A chronic or acute liver disease. Hepatitis a, b, c, d and e.
Out of which hepatitis b and c are more dangerous. They can cause liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and ultimately liver cancer.
Hepatitis a, d and e. Are less severe and usually present along or singly with b and c infection. Recently they have developed good treatment for hep c. But aggressive nature of the hep b is still challenging.
