Dear lybrate user, inhalation route of drug administration is very effective with minimal side effects when compared with oral/tablet mode of medication. Majority of asthma patients uses two types of drugs. Drugs which dilates airway (broncho dilators like salbutamol) & inflammation stoppers (steroids like budesonide). Side effects are very minimal. If you r using a steroid please wash your mouth with water after inhalation of the drug.

Inhaler is used for Asthmatic Bronchitis. Get your chest examined by doctor and take treatment accordingly

Long acting bronchodilator helps to control asthma for 12 hrs with each puff so better to take formoterol budesonide twice a day followed by gargles.

Hello, as per latest guidelines the dose for budesonide recommended for covid 19 is 800 mcg twice a day. If you have 100 mcg capsule, then its difficult to take 8 capsules at a time. Kindly arrange by requesting your pharmacist or re-visit your treating physician for alrternatives. Take care.

Asthalin is a emergency drug ,not to be used if needed daily. Instead use LABA and ICS combination by inhalation with spacer

As a suggestion I prefer not to use these inhalers. Cuz u r used to it , it's very difficult to get rid of it.Cuz u get best results using a inhaler INSTANTLY. so you will not make up your mind to find a permanent solution or you are not ready.

I don't know how long your son have to use. Cuz it's said by his immunity.

Improve his immunity power or health against allergy. That's the only solution.

She needs ics+laba (foracort or budamate 200 mcg twice daily) inhalation over prolonged period to get adequate relief.

Budecort inhelar only as it control is very good with levolin you can get quick relif but dute tachyphlaxis mean diminish of resopse after time acute exacerbations are more common with levolin.

If patient is asthmatic and the above drug could control her symptoms before pregnancy, then there is no harm if the drug is continued. But if patient is not asthmatic, it's better to go for other drugs.
