Hello,
Treatment options in recurrent cervical cancer is very limited.
The management mainly depends on the primary treatment received and the site and extent of recurrence.
In your case as the patient had already received chemoradiation, so in case of recurrence the only viable option remains is of carboplatin or cisplatin based chemotherapy. Despite treatment, the prognosis is guarded.

What does his latest PET scan say? Regular PET scans can only tell the ongoing disease status. Its good that he is fine. As long as he can accept chemo without side effects, it may be taken. Stage 4 cancer is difficult to respond 100% with any chemo.

Since ca 125 is low and if the patient donot have symptoms like ascites or abdominal distension and if cytoreductive surgery is adequate
no further chemo is required. As response has been adequate. Follow up the patient closely. If there is change in ca 125 level during follow up. Further treatment shall be required. Only then.

He seems to be case of metastatic ca lung. The treatment intent here is only supportive. You may give him cough suppressants like codeine syrup 2 teaspoons, thrice a day to reduce cough. But thst is not likely to improve his fight against cancer. Also was pleurodesis done, last time water was drained, otherwise it may have recollected.
